Forth Sector is a social enterprise that builds the health and well being of people with mental health problems by developing businesses that create supportive employment opportunities. We aim to have a portfolio of eight businesses that span a wide range of industries and provide work experience to a hundred people with mental health problems annually.
These opportunities are provided within real working environments and support people with mental health problems to:
- Recover from the impact of their mental ill health
- Improve their self-confidence
- Reduce their social isolation
- Increase their employability
- Regain or move into employment
- Reduced reliance on other health services
Forth Sector enjoys an open and participative working environment. We work to our core values of being supportive, professional and enterprising, which are the foundations of Forth Sector’s working relationships between Board members, staff and trainees, as well as our external business relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
