Forth Sector runs a portfolio of businesses that span a wide range of commercial activities and provide employment and work experience to hundreds of people with mental health problems. We believe a family-style working environment supports recovery and provides a breadth and depth of supported employment opportunities.
We offer a real working environment aiding people’s recovery from mental health ill health.

Forth Sector is one of Scotland’s leading social enterprises with a turn over exceeding £1.5million per annum.
Our businesses are principally financed through sales with a smaller percentage of income generated from service level agreements or grants to provide a supportive working environment for our trainees.
Forth Sector currently owns 8 businesses, several are in start-up or transition.

During 2005-06 Forth Sector has helped:
- 30 people back to work
- 20 people into education
- 3 people into a staff position with Forth Sector
