money, order and manage stock. Periodically there are large
stocktaking duties where retail assistants have to count and organise
all the stock. As the shop is based in the main tourist route
on the high street there is a great deal of customer interaction, answering
questions about the products, giving directions and providing information
on tourist spots.
The admin assistant answers the telephone, orders stock, types letters
and answers general correspondence.
