Housekeeping assistants with breakfast duties
As a housekeeper you will be responsible for cleaning the rooms for the guests, helping them to check out and provide some tourist and travel information if requested.
When on duty to cover a breakfast shift you will meet the guests as they arrive for their breakfast, show them to their table, take their food orders, provide tea, coffee and toast and then serve breakfast. You may also be asked by the guests for tourist and or bus travel information.
As a trainee at 6 Mary’s Place you will be expected to carry out both roles.
Administrative assistant
The duties of the admin assistant include answering the telephone, taking bookings from guests, typing and sending out letters of confirmation for bookings.
Gardener.
The gardener‘s duties are based around keeping the gardens to the front and the rear of the guest house tidy and pleasant for the guests to enjoy.
