Initial meeting –
Meet with Melanie to find out more about Forth Sector and for her to
begin to get find out more about you. If it appears that Forth
Sector is not the right service for you, she will advise you of other
places that may be able to support you. |

Occupational Evaluation –
Meet with an Employability Services case manager to discuss any work,
study, or volunteering you have been involved in, what interests
you have, your current situation, and any ideas / hopes you have
for the future. |

Placement matching / goal setting –
Meet with Melanie or a case manager to identify the placement that
best matches your skills, experience and goals. This stage
is also designed to help work out what help and support might
be useful for you to be able to start a placement, develop your
skills and achieve your goals. |

Taster Day(s) –
Try a shift in the placement(s) you are matched to. allow you
to see whether the placement is something you would like to attend
on a longer term basis. It also enables the manager to meet you to
see whether the placement is a good fit for you. A Case Manager
will meet you during your shift to discuss how it is going, and identify
the next steps. |

Start in the placement –
You will be allocated a Case Manager to offer ongoing support, and
advice. There is a 6 week training period, which allows you
and the manager to establish whether the placement is right for you.
You will be kept up to date with any training / groups that run,
and meet regularly with your Case Manager to review your goals. |
