Employability Service
The Employability Services team is the part of Forth Sector which provides individuals with the opportunity to develop their employability skills to enable them to gain employment, a place in training or education, or volunteering.

Each individual is allocated a Case Manager to provide them with ongoing support to sustain the placement and develop their employability. They will meet regularly to review progress made, identify areas of development and agree goals.

Engaging in one of our work placements does not affect benefits such as Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance or Income Support but it may have an effect if claiming Job Seeker’s Allowance. If further advice is required applicants should speak to either their local Job Centre or a member of the Employability Services Team.

"Employability is not just about getting a job.  It is about having opportunities to reflect on experiences, learn about who we are and what we want.  For many it might be about creating a good work/life balance, for some it might be about job satisfaction"
