   Information for Referral Agents:

If you are referring a client to Forth Sector and want to help them prepare please have a look at our:

  • Common employability assessment form for all potential trainees. This will be completed by the Training & Support Coordinator at the initial meeting.

Download it here: Employability assessment form

  • Policy regarding recruitment of trainees who are ex-offenders. The policy is designed to look at each case individually and be open to giving people second chances whenever possible.

Download it here: Policy - recruitment of ex-offenders

  • Self-declaration form. Any trainee who has a banned listing or a spent or unspent conviction will be asked to complete this form.

          Download it here: Self-declaration form

The self declaration form will only be looked at if a person meets the criteria for one of our placements and a placement is available. Otherwise it will be sealed and stored in a locked cabinet until a placement becomes available.

We ask that all required information be brought along to the initial meeting. The forms are only to help you prepare and will be completed at the meeting. Please don’t complete them prior to the meeting.

   Self-referrals

You are welcome to refer yourself provided you meet the eligibility criteria.

Welfare benefits

Participation in our work placements or training courses does not affect a client’s benefits so this is a good way of testing the water before taking the decision to move into paid work.
