Forth Sector is a charity that provides real jobs for real people. We have four social firms and an experienced Employability Support team.

From case managers to business managers, soap makers to business consultants, Forth Sector offers a varied and challenging range of jobs across its businesses, Employability Team and corporate function.

Voluntary positions
Forth Sector has supported hundreds, if not thousands, of clients over the years. We aim to support many more and we will do this by running sustainable businesses that offer real work training opportunities.

This means that we can offer opportunities to volunteers in many different and exciting areas, such as retail, hospitality, customer service and behind the scenes in our support functions. Wherever you offer your help you will be part of a team working towards two important aims:

• Supporting our clients in flourishing and supportive work environments
• Furthering our business objectives to create successful and sustainable businesses.

In return for this invaluable contribution Forth Sector offers volunteers development opportunities and new experiences in a dynamic and innovative organisation.

Board Positions
Forth Sector is governed by a board of trustees and directors who are responsible for the leadership of the organisation. This means they are responsible for:

• Determining the organisation’s strategy
• Ensuring the organisation is financially viable
• Ensuring the organisation complies with its company and charity law

Our directors are unpaid volunteers from the public and private sectors, with both working and retired members.

We have a skilled and committed board of directors but we would welcome enquiries from anyone with legal or HR expertise.
