Andy Hunter Andy Hunter
Andy Hunter founded Edinburgh Community Trust (later to become Forth Sector) in 1981 with a group of like-minded trustees. The aim was to distribute funding and grants to projects that were a bit riskier or more innovative and were less likely to attract mainstream funding. The Trust believed that meaningful work contributed to an individual’s mental health and wellbeing.

For many years Andy worked for Garvald Edinburgh, a charity providing day, accommodation and support services for adults with disabilities.

In June 2008 Andy moved into a completely different area when he set up his own business, Storybikes, providing bespoke cycle tours with stories along the way.
